Review of the Initial Requirement
The usage behaviour should be considered while improving the smart services (Böcker et al. 2010;Kuebeland and Zarnekow 2015 cited in Dreyer et al., 2019). Which could be analysed by reviewing the feedback provided by the citizens and based on the review, initial requirement for the services should be revisited and necessary changes should be made accordingly for the further improvement of the services.
Example
The Independent Living Project (ILP) and Home-based senior care (HSC) smart living services are specifically designed for elderly with the aim of improving independent living in Finland and China (Solaimani, Bouwman and Itälä, 2015); and it is indicated that by integrating the information flow between various service providers and customers, a rich collection of user behaviour data can be produced, which can be used to further optimize the services.
