Service actors are different notion to that of service stakeholders. Actors are involved in the processes and action of value co-creation and are primary elements in the process of service analysis.

History

Service actors are different notion to that of service stakeholders. Actors are involved in the processes and action of value co-creation and are primary operant resources of focus in the process of service analysis. For further explanation, service system contains at least two service actors (e.g. producer, and customer). The activities that these two types of actor perform between themselves are a) co-production, and b) co-creation.
